Raw bee propolis – bees know what is good and healthy

Winnie the Pooh knows all children, every gourmet enjoys honey and the combination of yellow and black stripes is a honey trend in almost every season. What else do we owe to bees? One such product is the presented raw bee propolis, which comes from the family bee yard in Poland.

Bee propolis – natural antibiotic from the hive

This substance is produced by bees mainly from plant resins and used by bees to seal the hive. In addition to a huge amount of ingredients that protect the insect colony from parasites, bacteria and viruses, propolis also contains several vitamins and minerals that will strengthen your immunity, give you energy and make you feel better. People using propolis treatment have noticed that it is particularly helpful in skin diseases, oral cavities and infections. As propolis in its raw material form dissolves perfectly in ethyl alcohol, it will be an excellent base for making health tinctures, but it can also be used to choose propolis ointment and propolis drops at home.

Properties of bee propolis:

  • helps to support immunity
  • regulates the functioning of hormones
  • has an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal effect
  • helps with stomach problems, ulcers
  • supports blood flow in the circulatory system
  • supports liver function
  • lowers cholesterol

Every day, in accordance with the family tradition, we make sure that each product is as natural as possible. That is why we can assure you that our offer includes only the fruits of work of whole bee families in pure form, without preservatives and artificial additives.

The use of propolis is always worth consulting your doctor. A high concentration of resinous substances, essential oils and wax, which are indigestible, may cause undesirable side effects. These include diarrhea, vomiting, irritation of gastric mucous membranes and exacerbation of liver diseases. Additionally, in people with hay fever and allergic to plant components, propolis can cause allergy.

Expiry date of bee propolis

Pure propolis should be used within a year of harvest. If the propolis tincture is prepared, it should also be used within 12 months from the date of its manufacture, bearing in mind the product storage conditions. It is estimated that after about 12 months propolis loses half of its properties, and after two years it becomes completely useless.
